A Touch of Dreamtime will take the time, every time, to listen to your needs prior to your time on the table.
Fascial Kinetics: Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a holistic remedial technique that is widely used to relieve and resolve both long-standing and also sudden onset pain. In Bowen Therapy, we are working on the fascia, "the skin of the spirit", the place where qi flows and the emotions along with the soul, reside in our bodies. The technique involves gentle, non invasive, soft tissue movements in a very specific way which opens windows of opportunity for change and transformation by assisting your fascia to become re-hydrated which in turn assists the structures housed within this tissue. These structures include nerves, muscles, lymph, vascular structures, and organs. Improved function in these structures leads to improved overall general health and wellbeing.
Commonly Treated Conditions:

2024 NEWS
A New Approach to Our Offerings
As our knowledge and experience continues to evolve, we have slowly been having a shift in the way we view the body at A.T.O.D. Gone are the days where we place value in wanting to only know the anatomical story to your presenting ailments. Through recent studies in the areas of Theraputic Embodiment and furthering our understanding of somatic psychology we are more interested in what is going on in your body as a result of what you have been through in your life which has caused your body to enter self preservation mode in the first place rather than just the origin of your injury and ergonomics of life.
Helping our community understand the frameworks behind why they have these acute and chronic conditions... why they feel, act and behave they way they do and how important our Mind/Body Unity is, is the way forward in all of our healing journeys.
Coupling yarning time prior to getting on the table and touch time has always been something A.T.O.D has offered but now we have some specific techniques and frameworks behind our offering which we hope will help to facilitate the changes our community may be looking for within their mind and body.
We hope our A.T.O.D community is just as excited as us about our new direction. Looking forward to the opportunity treating you soon.

Passion
With A.T.O.D we place more value in getting an insight into your mind and body unity rather than the old paradigm of
healing that uses specific remedial orientated pre treatment questions. We want to hold space for you in a way that helps us to understand what was going on for you mentally and emotionally at the time of…and/or… the time leading into
the origin of your present ailments and sensations in your body along with sharing simple tools that may help regulate your systems. Disease and dis-ease within our mind, body and soul are not just biological events. They are manifestations of mental, emotional and spiritual processes that show up in the body but do not strictly originate in the body in the pure
physiological sense. Let us show you different ways to understand why your body has gone into self preservation mode and sending you these pain signals in the first place. With anything we wish to master in life, there generally is theory. Theory is the framework of understanding that
gives reference to an experience, so our experience can go deeper and get embodied. Frameworks bring objectivity, empowerment and bring us into our rational mind. If we understand better how something works, we will be able to
use any tools that cross our path more effectively to experience a preferred outcome which in our case is to heal ourselves, our families, our communities and ultimately, our world. In an era of abundant information, there is a huge marketplace of healing, yet we are in an epidemic of suffering. We live in a culture where we are continuously seeking and using tools not knowing or understanding their depth, context, relevance and functionality of them in relation to our personal
experiences, stories and journey. When we learn about the concepts and ideas behind why we behave the way we do, why
we have experienced some of the things we have experienced and why it is hard to make changes that last, it inspires us and re-organizes us, which leads us towards healing and an increased capacity. Below are some our of favourite tools and resources for you to consider in your healing journey.Useful Links
